Dani Abu Ghaida has over 23 years of experience as a successful technology and telecom professional, global C-level executive, corporate venture leader, board advisor, startup entrepreneur, and business confidant across multiple industries, spanning several geographies, and diverse ventures.
During the last two decades, Dani was part of startup teams in multiple ventures that scaled up to hundreds of millions of dollars of revenue in the first couple of years. He has held leadership positions with a public company (MTN Group), a private company (Dar Group), and a multinational consulting firm (EY). Dani took on senior executive roles at a country level, a regional level, and a global level as well.
In his previous role, Dani was the Global CIO of Dar Group - a multi-billion-dollar Design and Engineering firm that employs 18,000 employees across 300 offices in 58 countries. He has led the development and execution of a global technology strategy that included a major digital transformation for the multi-billion-dollar Transportation Business Unit.
During the past few years, Dani have been spending half of my time in the US and the other half leading global teams and innovation initiatives out of the Middle East. He developed a peculiar global vision through immersing himself in innovation ecosystems in the US (esp. in the Silicon Valley), Middle East, and globally.
As Mach49’s Partner in the Middle East, Dani is leveraging his extensive years of regional ME experience, Silicon Valley network, and global exposure to help Middle Eastern companies develop a pipeline and portfolio of successful new ventures.
Dani holds a Doctorate in Business Administration, a Masters and Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, and he is a Stanford GSB (Graduate School of Business) Alumnus. He is also a member of the MIT and Oxford Alumni networks.
