Igor has over 15 years of international experience as an executive and management consultant. Igor has combined experience of 50+ strategy and operations projects — leading teams, setting up and implementing strategies, large-scale national change initiatives, M&A and post-merger integrations, operational performance improvements.
In the early days of his management consulting career, Igor developed a scalable capacity load market model for the Russian electricity market. The model became standard for Russian generation companies. At Roland Berger and the Boston Consulting Group, Igor advised telecoms and high-tech companies across Europe and in Russia on mergers and acquisitions. He helped Russian and European telecommunications companies adopt customer centric practices, develop new products and services. Igor’s particular passion has been combining strategic work with helping develop new businesses. One of such projects was strategy for a leading Russian aerospace company, after which he helped set up one of its new business units.
As member of the Executive Board of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, Igor provided hands-on help to the Russian regions to attract investments and improve their business climate. Igor was responsible for development and implementation of the National Investment Climate Rating – a digital product based on inputs of >100,000 businessmen. It is embedded in performance assessment of all of Russian governors and their teams.
Igor studied international economic relations in the Russian G.V. Plekhanov Economic Academy.
