Asha is a creative problem solver who marries design and data to build products that democratize Mach49’s methodologies, optimize our content and increase project efficiency, and stimulate massive growth potential.

Before joining Mach49, Asha was an early employee of Grabango, the leading provider of checkout-free technology for large-scale grocery and convenience store chains. As Director of Data Quality, she worked at the intersection of operations, product, and data, overseeing several products from beta to launch and acting as the chief point of contact for 7 pilot customers.

She also co-founded several programs at Youth Radio, teaching kids how to address problems in their communities with technology and actually bring their ideas from ideation to launch. Asha mentored over 100 young kids, partnered with startups and academic institutions to launch the participants’ products, worked closely with MIT’s Media Lab, and spoke at conferences around the world about the programs’ incredible success.

Asha holds a degree in economics from Mills College and is a passionate proponent of lifelong self-teaching.
