Daria is passionate about democratizing design thinking and customer development methodologies. By teaching client teams how to discard their biases and preconceived notions in favor of empathic customer research, she empowers them to truly understand their users firsthand, and gives them the tools they need to approach future ventures with sound strategies.

A trained designer, Daria’s keen artistic eye allows her to effectively align research insights and business goals with design decisions. Before joining Mach49, she spent 2 years at Zuora, a B2B SaaS business, where she was the first and — for much of her tenure — only UX Researcher. She not only built out the firm’s research practice from the ground up, but also led the first research studies for the firm’s core products.

Daria studied psychology and economics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and completed Designlab’s UX Academy. She speaks English, Polish, and Spanish.
