Darryl has decades of experience combining customer insights, technology, and design thinking to shape growth strategy and drive product development. A human-centered design advocate, he teaches client teams how to leverage data to optimize the product development life cycle, to create truly transformative solutions for their customers.

Before joining Mach49, Darryl worked for various CX consultancies and creative agencies, leading customer development teams from ideation through to implementation, blending user research, service design, product management, and CX methodologies to solve customer pains. He delivered qualitative and quantitative research for businesses in the luxury goods, fintech, healthcare, retail, and travel industries. 

Darryl studied marketing management and informatics at the University of South Africa, and holds certifications in UX research methods, product management, agile analytics, and design thinking, among other subjects.
