As Senior Customer Development and UX Researcher, Elwin guides teams through learning about their target users and uncovering acute pains, and helps establish the pace and vigor required in an incubation to build and validate an effective solution.
Prior to joining Mach49, Elwin led countless user discovery efforts at biopharmaceutical company MSD, tackling challenges in areas ranging from manufacturing to research, product access, and marketing. He not only helped launch highly successful, targeted market access product campaigns, but optimized internal company processes using design thinking methodology.
Elwin earned a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from the National University of Singapore, where he participated in the Design-Centric Program. He is also a certified Scrum Practitioner.
