Emily is a people-oriented professional driven by bringing efficiency and communication to fast-paced environments. She works directly with Venture Builders in the US to support the firm’s ever-growing Incubate practice, by allocating resources, anticipating needs of teams, and strengthening coordination between all stakeholders.

Previously, she worked as Senior Administrative Assistant for MIT’s Corporate Relations department, encapsulating both the MIT Industrial Liaison Program and MIT Startup Exchange. She worked closely with directors to support daily operations, managing logistics and coordinating between high-level corporate executives worldwide in order to align industry sponsors with MIT researchers and startups. Always searching for ways to evolve and optimize day-to-day processes, she assisted with the design and implementation of Salesforce as a CRM tool to document interactions between MIT faculty / researchers and corporate representatives. She also assisted the office in documenting best practices and ensuring data integrity.

Emily has a BA in theatre and history from Simpson College. In her free time, she nurtures her theatrical roots as the sound designer for ComedyCazi, an improvisation group in Boston.
