As Senior Manager of Marketing Communications and Employer Brand Engagement, Genesis sets the vision and strategy, and oversees the planning and execution, of Mach49’s internal marketing communications. She drives Mach49’s internal brand strategy, leads the firm’s overarching multi-channel campaigns, and develops innovative marketing strategies to articulate Mach49’s unique brand identity, core values, and targeted key messaging, in order to attract world-class global talent while improving retention and ROI among the firm’s cadre of global change-makers.
With over 15 years of digital marketing, corporate communications, and public relations experience, Genesis expertly cultivates and nurtures stakeholder relationships, develops multi-channel digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness and brand reach, and creates holistic marketing communications strategies to optimize growth, brand positioning, and in-market performance.
Genesis was previously Mach49’s Marketing Manager, before joining the Office of People and Belonging to lead their marketing communications team. As part of the OPB, she focuses on brand development, digital communications, multi-channel programmatic marketing campaigns, corporate storytelling, content marketing, and strategic initiatives to maximize internal and external reach, synthesize the firm’s key messages, improve candidate engagement, drive talent acquisition, improve success across Mach49’s Learning and Development programs, and more.
Before joining Mach49, Genesis founded The Blueprint Haus Agency — an integrated digital marketing and startup development agency that works closely with entrepreneurs, early stage startups, and small-to-midsize businesses to improve market performance, drive scalable growth, and nurture stakeholder relationships through the power of brand building and global impact.
Over the course of her career, Genesis has founded and operated 4 successful startups and nonprofits, and has been recognized as an inspiring entrepreneur in national media outlets including ABC, FOX, NBC, CBS, Right This Minute, and iHEART Radio. Genesis has repeatedly been invited as a Guest Lecturer at Loyola University Chicago’s Quinlan School of Business; University of California, Berkeley’s Haas School of Business; and Morehouse College’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
Genesis holds a degree in public relations, advertising, and integrated marketing communications from Loyola University Chicago. She also holds a digital marketing certification from University of California, Berkeley.
When she isn’t developing marketing communications strategies and driving digital engagement campaigns, you can find Genesis speaking at industry conferences, guest lecturing for undergraduate and MBA students at the nation’s top-ranked business schools, and putting pen to paper as she writes her first book to teach the next generation of entrepreneurs how to drive global impact and dominate the industry through the power of brand communications and data-driven marketing.
