Hiroki is a multidisciplinary design thinker who brings over 15 years of experience in graphic design, interior architecture, industrial design, and user experience design to the Mach49 family. Using his passion for observation and human-centered design, Hiroki creates innovative and impactful solutions for clients across industries.
Having lived in Japan, the U.S., U.K., Italy, and Hong Kong, Hiroki brings a rich multicultural perspective to his work. From local nonprofits to large global corporations, he has helped numerous businesses by empathizing with client and user needs while collaborating with teams on data-driven design.
Hiroki earned a MA in Industrial Design from San Francisco State University with a multidisciplinary focus on product design, user experience, and graphic design. While there, he honed his research methodologies working as a UX Designer and Researcher alongside an anthropologist, ethnographer, engineer, business stakeholder, and interaction designer.
