With more than 15 years of experience as a UX leader and hands-on research practitioner, Jen has worked in a wide variety of industries from retail and casual gaming to health sciences, and financial services.
In both in-house and consulting roles, Jen thrives at the intersection of user empathy, business strategy, and design. She established and grew user research practices at both B2B and B2C companies throughout her career. Jen particularly enjoys enabling others through mentorship in qualitative research and design thinking methodologies.
Day-to-day, Jen exercises all of her research muscles including supporting Mach49 "intrapreneurs" to adopt and implement qualitative research methods throughout the engagement.
Prior to joining Mach49, Jen founded the research practice, and led and grew the User Experience Design team for TripIt--a beloved travel itinerary management app for frequent travelers.
Jen received her BS in Product Design with a concentration in Social Science from the Institute of Design at IIT in Chicago.
