Jocelyne is a highly analytical professional with diligence experience in consumer technology in addition to research and sourcing experience in oil and gas innovation technology. As a Venture Analyst in the Venture Investing practice, Jocelyne performs deep-dive qualitative and quantitative analyses that support Mach49’s external venturing team and its clients, including strategic partners and venture capital funds launched by corporations, family offices, and government entities.
Before joining Mach49, she was a Summer Analyst for The Chernin Group (TCG), where she explored big-picture investment themes, researched emerging consumer trends, sourced potential investments, and supported due diligence. Prior to her time at TCG, she worked as a Research Associate at Darcy Partners, where she worked closely with entrepreneurs, oil and gas operators, and corporate venturing groups to advance strategic decision making related to the future of energy. In addition to her role at Mach49, Jocelyne is an Associate Program Manager at GoingVC, a professional development organization that helps its members advance their careers in venture capital.
Originally from Mexico, Jocelyne is a native Spanish speaker and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from the University of Houston. She is an avid traveler and sailor who loves sharing adventures with her dog, Toby.
