Jonathan is a seasoned technology and operations executive, having led diverse cross-functional teams in aerospace, healthcare, insurance, and consumer marketing. As a mentor for New Venture Teams, he specializes in driving agile implementation of technology systems, ensuring delivery of high-quality products at startup speed.
For over 25 years, he has brought corporations into the next generation by restructuring operations and redesigning business strategies, with a consistent focus on future growth. He is known for his tactical approach to solving problems and his dedication to developing talent on every team he supports.
Jonathan began his career in the company of rocket scientists — literally — as a lead Software Engineer for the International Space Station. He then transitioned into corporate technology, leading the buildout of the nascent IT function for Pacificare Behavioral Health and launching their first full-service website. Jonathan also served as CIO and VP of Operations for Nationwide’s Pet Insurance division — where he brought an innovative non-insurance SaaS line of business from ideation to market launch — and as CTO and SVP of Operations at Futuredontics, where he optimized significant IT investments and led the creation of a new brand platform.
He holds a BS in computer engineering from Boston University and currently lives in Southern California, where he’s had the honor of volunteering on a number of nonprofit boards and executive committees serving the local community.
