Josh is a developer, designer, and award-winning innovation director with over 15 years of experience across a wide range of industries. He has worked with some of the world's largest creative agencies, award-winning tech startups, consultancies, and transformational digital agencies. Devoted to discovering and capitalizing on opportunities that arise when emerging technologies create new customer needs, Josh lends his breadth of experience to Mach49 to help clients take bold entrepreneurial leaps.
He recently received the UN Development Program's 2020 Global Innovator award for his efforts to build hardware IoT tools to combat the spread of COVID-19 in developing countries. Before joining Mach49, he served as Chief Innovation Officer and Head of Product at Brandwidth, splitting his time between the company’s London and New York offices. There, he built cross-disciplinary teams of designers, engineers, developers, and strategists that focused on new approaches to creating both digital and physical products and platforms.
Josh also co-founded Glorious Labs, a Singapore and London-based hardware / IoT VR company incubated by Facebook Singapore. Created to design and build new tools to enable consumers to engage with and share VR-ready content, Glorious Labs was engineered by a global team “from the circuit board up” and went on to win Top Pick in the AR / VR category at TechCrunch’s Disrupt San Francisco in 2018.
A truly global citizen, Josh has lived and worked as a senior tech and product executive on 3 continents. He is an avid learner who embraces the unknown, strives to understand the drivers of change, and is dedicated to solving never-before-addressed problems with never-before-seen solutions. He holds a BS from Boston University.
