At Christie’s Auction House, Matt pioneered the switch from film photography to digital photography in the 1990s, acquiring a passion for working with emerging technology along the way. Later, he co-founded a Helsinki-based augmented reality (AR) startup, which was backed by Seedcamp and achieved success with leading global design brands. He spent the last 4 years at a leading digital product studio, where he leveraged his strategic expertise to help ventures focused on positive global impacts build compelling products and secure their first significant funding rounds in London, New York, and San Francisco.
Deeply embedded in London’s startup ecosystem, Matt has mentored hundreds of early stage founders through leading incubators, accelerators, and VC funds. Today, he lives in Sussex with his wife, 2 children, and their standard poodle.
