Michael is a seasoned tech industry professional with over 25 years of experience driving high-impact growth and creating new business categories.
He has unparalleled expertise in corporate development — from raising capital for startups to executing M&A transactions for global businesses — and is highly skilled in people operations management, compliance and risk management, infrastructure implementation and integration, and financial modeling. Michael’s hands-on approach and unique ability to identify and capitalize on untapped opportunities have contributed to his impressive track record at both pre-IPO startups and established, global, publicly traded companies.
Before joining Mach49, Michael worked at BCG Digital Ventures, where he provided strategic guidance to Fortune 500 companies on digital transformation projects and supported corporate venture capital clients in scaling startups. He also launched the Corporate Development function at Catalina Marketing, where he led the acquisitions of several businesses and ultimately contributed to Catalina’s $2.5B acquisition by a private equity firm. Earlier in his career, Michael increased the visibility of the Retail Product Development team at Amazon, where he created data marketing insights that turned into a multimillion-dollar global P&L unit within 12 months.
Michael holds a BS in physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in law and diplomacy from Tufts University’s Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
