Peter is a seasoned senior executive who has spent over 2 decades advising Fortune 500 companies on creative solutions to their most perplexing customer problems. He has led transformational projects with customer-driven solutions for a combined value of over $1B.

In addition to his life’s work spent helping large client enterprises, Peter is also an accomplished intrapreneur, having built and grown startups within his own organizations. From digital experience practices to people operations to intelligent automation, a hallmark of Peter’s career has been establishing and growing successful new ventures within massive legacy organizations.

Prior to COVID, Peter served as the Executive Director of the New York City-based Applied Innovation Exchange (AIE) — Capgemini’s innovation platform comprised of a global network of startups, designers, technologists, sector experts, technology partners, academics, and research organizations. The AIE’s mission under Peter’s leadership was to bring concepts from ideation to practical application within large companies, to create growth. The organization was purpose-designed to enable enterprises to discover relevant innovations and then to contextualize and experiment with them to create their own ventures.

At the AIE, Peter advised CXOs from countless sectors, including financial services, retail, consumer products, manufacturing, life sciences, and media and entertainment. He introduced them to a breadth of technology, spanning artificial intelligence, machine learning, data and analytics, intelligent automation, AR / VR, Blockchain, drones, and more. He also helped senior executives understand the metaverse, where he’s “traveled” since 2014

Peter holds a BA in political science from the University of Colorado, Boulder and completed an executive program on digital strategy at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. His first startup was a political consulting firm — but he’ll tell you he quickly learned that Washington, DC is where good ideas go to die long, slow deaths.  

Currently, he splits his time between Denver and New York City, and often travels to see his 3 children in Washington, Berlin, and Dublin. Peter has a passion for outdoor sports and can usually be found in the hills of Colorado mountain biking, snowboarding, skiing, or fly fishing. And, when he’s near an ocean, he’s a horrible, but aspiring, surfer.
