Reza, named one of The Drum’s 50 most influential people in the APAC digital industry, is more than a business leader, investor, serial entrepreneur, CEO, COO, educator, and coach. He’s a recognized visionary with an unmatched track record in venture building and scaling. A 30-year veteran in business and innovation, Reza brings focus, passion, and finely honed strategy to his role as Senior Venture Builder.

He has seen it all, from the early dot-com rise and fall in Silicon Valley to Singapore’s recent evolution into a global tech hub. He first entered the APAC region 15 years ago, when he expanded Yahoo!’s operations in Southeast Asia, launching products and services in 6 new countries and crafting a 5-year investment plan for the region. Reza soon transitioned into a Venture Partner role at VC practice, IDG Ventures, before founding digital.direction, his own incubation and business transformation practice. Prior to joining Mach49, Reza lent his expertise as an advisor and Expert-in-Residence at Entrepreneur First, GMedes Global, INSEAD, and Trellis Asia. He has founded and exited a number of companies in the martech and business analytics spaces.

Reza is an active angel investor for countless ventures, including Glean, Peakflo, Intellect, OSOME, and SEPPURE, and belongs to leadership networks YPO and H2. He holds a BA in mathematics and economics and an MA in quantitative economics from Boston University.
