After moving to the Bay Area in 1999, Scott provided financial and accounting services to several early stage companies before joining Mach49.
He served as Director of Finance at ClickSoftware for 5 years, during which time he participated in the company’s successful IPO. Later, he led finance efforts for several pre-IPO SaaS companies, including DiCarta, which was purchased by Emptoris; Softcoin, which was purchased by YOU Technnologies; and Aggregate Knowledge, which was purchased by Neustar. Most recently, he served as Director of Finance for Creative Commons, where he was responsible for all finance and accounting, HR, and regulatory filings.
A CPA, Scott holds an MS from San Jose State University in addition to an MBA and a BA in history from the University of North Florida.
