Valerie is a product designer who is passionate about bridging the gap to make transformative technologies available to all people. As a UX Designer and Researcher, she employs her skills in conducting user research, synthesizing highly valuable insights, and, ultimately, building innovative products at the intersection of creativity and accessibility.
She started her career in experiential marketing, conducting market research and producing events for companies like Netflix and ABC. While studying various stakeholder groups and their behaviors and needs, she learned about the power of empathetic, human-centered experiences, and was drawn to UX design. Since then, she has worked for startups in the social and data analytics sectors.
Valerie has a BA in marketing from California State University, Northridge, and completed Springboard's UX / UI Immersive.
