As Executive Assistant to Mach49’s Co-CEO, Chief People Officer, and Chief Financial Officer, Amara supports key leaders by managing day-to-day scheduling, communications, and travel; and by jumping in to support a range of projects across the organization. She is focused on contributing to and clearing the path for leaders to engage in innovative, deep thinking, effective strategic planning, and a meaningful connection and communication. Amara has a superpower for building structures and processes that honor diverse ways of thinking, working, and collaborating, leveraging the unique skills and lived experiences of those she works with.

Previously, Amara worked as an Independent Consultant working alongside exceptional executive leaders in the life sciences, technology, legal, marketing, consulting, education, and DEI fields in corporate, small business, startup, and non-profit organizations. Amara brings a range of entrepreneurial and leadership experiences that benefit her work at Mach49 from starting her own company to co-founding a non-profit to contributing to several major publications across crisis management, AI, and legal fields. Amara holds a BS in Public Health and a BA in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where she grew up. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her son cooking, biking, kayaking, and traveling to Puerto Rico to visit her family.
