From tech startups to multinational corporations, Balint is passionate about building and scaling high-performing, consumer-focused, data-driven organizations. He’s worn many hats in his 25-year career, having worked across top-tier management consulting firms, VC / PE-backed startups, and global consumer businesses throughout Europe. Balint leverages his breadth and depth of experience to lead corporations through digital transformations, scale startups in hyper growth environments, and empower organizations with the internal “soft skills” needed to hardwire new innovation methodology.

As VP of Client Growth and Executive-in-Residence, Balint propels Mach49’s international growth by developing strategic client relationships in new regions and both strengthening and broadening existing partnerships. He enjoys working with the firm’s C-suite partners to identify opportunities that will disrupt clients’ industries, accelerate their growth, and innovate their business models.

Balint spent 10 years at BCG working across the consumer, retail, telecommunications, health care, and industrial spaces. He held various business development and innovation roles at P&G, Avon, and Diageo, and led Société Générale’s global marketing and digital functions. Before joining Mach49, Balint supported Wayfair’s European expansion, as well as Klarna’s exponential growth and transformation into a global consumer fintech. Most recently, he contributed to IBM’s Enterprise Strategy growth platform, where he led the distribution practice and leveraged emerging technologies around AI, IoT, blockchain, and hybrid cloud to help the UK’s leading consumer and retail businesses disrupt themselves.

Balint is a global citizen, having worked in the UK, Germany, Austria, France, Russia, and Sweden. He holds a BA in business administration and international studies from Webster University and an MBA from INSEAD.
