Hudson brings over a decade of experience in financial services, economic development, corporate advisory, and venture building — across the US and Asia — to his role as Principal in the Venture Strategy practice. He specializes in providing strategic and operational guidance to new ventures, from "Day 1" startups to in-house ventures within corporations with thousands of employees.

Hudson started his career in a rotational program at Capital Group — a global investment manager with over $2.2 trillion in managed assets — before branching into investment product development and management for Capital’s Canadian unit. Later, he contributed to initiatives at the intersection of financial services, innovation, and venture ecosystems at the New York City Economic Development Corporation and at Next Street — a small business ecosystem advisory firm. He also worked on a number of US-based and international ventures in crowd financing, meal delivery, e-commerce, and marketplaces, notably facilitating an exit / acquisition at Kaidee — a C2C marketplace in Thailand with over 7 million users.

Prior to joining Mach49, Hudson served as Chief Strategy Officer at Transformational, a digital transformation advising and venture building firm based in Bangkok, Thailand. There, he and his team conceived, developed, and launched new digital platforms and business models for leading Thai companies across a number of industries, including retail, insurance, agriculture, travel, and telecom. He continues to be an advisor to and angel investor in a number of startups in the region, including platforms in e-grocery, earned wage access, and tokenized real estate transactions.

Hudson holds an MBA from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business, an MPA from Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government, and an AB in international relations and economics from Brown University.
