Jon is a Silicon Valley start-up veteran with expertise in B2B Go-to-Market strategies and their impact on product offers. Over the course of his career, he has worked at nine startups; played a key role in raising over $150M in venture capital and has been instrumental in creating over $500M in shareholder value from both acquisitions and Initial Public Offers. Passionate about marketing technology, he was an early pioneer and advocate for digital marketing and most recently, account-based marketing.
Prior to coming to Mach49, Jon was Chief Marketing Officer for Spoken Communications, a cloud communications business, where he led a successful repositioning effort that resulted in Spoken’s acquisition by Avaya in 2018. Prior to this, Jon was Chief Marketing Officer for mobile solutions provider Xamarin (now Microsoft) and then Fortify Software (now HP Enterprise) a leader in information security. Jon also founded iSharp, one of the first companies to offer software as a service. Jon began his career working in sales and then sales leadership.
As Chief Marketing Officer for Mach49, Jon focuses on defining and executing Mach49’s growth strategy and integrating the latest B2B sales and marketing practices into the business.
Jon studied Computer Engineering at Case Western Reserve University but left after two years and relocated to California so he could indulge his entrepreneurial instincts.
