An avid problem solver and a deep thinker, Karen loves unravelling complex problems that enable large companies to create new business lines, products, and services. She harnesses the power of behavioral psychology and design thinking to help client teams drive new venture creation. As Mach49’s New Venture Director, Karen works with incubation teams to focus on customer needs, identify market opportunities, and develop strategy and execution plans to launch new products and services at scale.
Prior to joining Mach49, she was a Product Manager on the internal incubator team at Shell, where she played a critical role in the creation of new ventures, some of which are now spun out. Through customer-centric innovation sprints, Karen launched new digital ventures in the B2B industrial, renewables, and sustainability spaces to deliver meaningful and purposeful business growth.
Born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, Karen earned an MSc in Economics and Strategy for Business at Imperial College London. During downtime, Karen enjoys reading, running, yoga, and spending quality time with family and friends.
