Marigrace Ragsdale
Associate, Venture Investing
Marigrace is an analytical and strategic thinker who is passionate about helping Mach49's clients engage with the global startup ecosystem. As an Associate with the Venture Investing practice, she works with corporate clients as they execute their strategic goals through external venture capital efforts.
Previously, Marigrace worked for a venture capital fund focused on investing in early stage startups in the Midwestern and Southeastern regions of the US. She supported all aspects of the investment process, including thesis development, deal sourcing, company diligence, investment proposals, and post-investment portfolio support. In addition to traditional investment work, Marigrace also designed and launched several programs that focused on increasing access to venture capital for startups across the US, using creative and experimental approaches. Earlier in her career, prior to her experience in the venture space, Marigrace worked for a registered investment advisor, managing over $1B of client assets.
Marigrace holds a BS in finance with minors in both entrepreneurship and management from the University of Louisville. She volunteers in her local startup community as a Board Member serving the Venture Connectors organization of Louisville, Kentucky.
