Lulu is a Talent Acquisition Manager with over 20 years of experience recruiting in the financial services, edtech, luxury audio, and medical device industries. She started her career at E\*TRADE, managing University Relations and Programs. It was there that she discovered her passion for recruiting early-career professionals and helping them navigate life in the corporate world. Over the years, she worked in several finance firms based in the Bay Area and New York, recruiting for roles at all levels. After over a decade in the financial industry, she decided to pivot and became a Talent Acquisition Manager for an educational technology company. In that role, she led a national team and was a player-coach, also recruiting for her own roles. She also became interested in talent acquisition operations, HRIS management, and recruitment marketing during that time. 7 years ago, Lulu moved back home to San Diego and joined the medical device industry, recruiting engineers and marketing managers for NuVasive and SeaSpine. Most recently, she worked at Sound United as Manager of Talent and Culture, where she led global recruitment and internal communications. As a certified Predictive Index Analyst and Behavioral-Based Interviewing Specialist, Lulu is passionate about finding the right talent for organizations and helping candidates find the right fit for their careers. When she’s not working, Lulu enjoys spending time with her son — taking him to basketball, football, or soccer practices and games, where she watches from the sidelines with their dog. In her free time, she loves rowing, paddleboarding, and traveling. She holds a degree in sociology from the University of California, Davis.
