Mark is a serial entrepreneur and award-winning global thought leader, sitting at the intersection of technology, entertainment, and brand building. His journey started when he created the first digital transformation consultancy for celebrities and public figures and became the go-to "digital guy" for the Hollywood A-list. That company was soon acquired by the world's biggest talent agency, William Morris Endeavor, where Mark was installed as the first Chief Digital Officer in the entertainment industry.

After leading the digital transformation of over 100 entertainment brands and public figures — from Lady Gaga and Usher to Buckingham Palace and Barack Obama — Mark started a new company to apply all these learnings and drive innovation strategy for consumer brands. Working directly with the C-Suite of the world's most iconic companies, Mark's new startup set innovation and new venture strategy, creating exponential growth across their lines of business. It was quickly acquired by Vice Media in 2015, where Mark became Chief Innovation Officer, launched a further 6 new ventures, and won a record number of Emmy Awards, Cannes Lions Awards, and even Oscar nominations.

Mark has built and successfully sold three of his own companies and has sat on the board of many of the world’s most exciting scale-ups, including Headspace, Gymshark, Ocean Bottle, and Codec.ai. He is a globally recognized thought leader and keynote speaker who won “Speaker of the Year” in two global polls in 2023. His new book, “The Community Driven Economy,” is due for publication in 2024.

It's been quite a year for Mark so far, starting with The Guardian awarding him the accolade of "Star of Tech City" and describing him as "An Entrepreneur, Investor & Board Advisor who's changing our world by boosting economic growth." He went on to be named in "The Silicon 60 Global Tech Entrepreneurs," "The Most Influential Londoners," "The Sunday Times Top People in Britain," "The Drum's Digerati List," and "The Debrett's Top 10 Digital List." He was also invited to do a TED Talk, which quickly accrued millions of views.

Mark holds a BA in law from University College London and a master’s degree in constitutional jurisprudence from the University of London.
