Chief of Staff for David Charpie and Director of Venture Building Operations
As Director of Venture Building Operations, Shelby oversees operations for all engagements within Mach49’s Venture Building practice, through resource and staffing management, project management, and client program management. She is also Chief of Staff for Co-CEO David Charpie, whom she helps to drive the efficiency of Mach49’s lines of business and internal shared services.
Prior to this role, she served as Mach49’s Human Resources Operations Manager, working closely with the Chief Talent Officer to manage employee hiring, onboarding, and engagement.
Earlier in her career, Shelby worked in human resources at Albertsons Companies and the Spine Institute of Idaho, where she managed functions including recruiting and onboarding, employee relocation, and day-to-day operations. She is passionate about optimizing internal teams and processes to maximize productivity.
Shelby holds a BA in psychology and criminal justice from Boise State University and an MBA from Northwest Nazarene University.
