Eugene lends her sharp analytical mind to Mach49’s Venture Investing practice, researching investment theses, sourcing startup and investor connections, analyzing prospective investments, and supporting corporate clients in launching and managing CVCs.
Prior to joining Mach49, she worked as an Analyst at global venture capital firm SOSV’s Chinaccelerator, where she was responsible for evaluating both new and follow-on investments, launching syndicates with corporations, and managing over 30 portfolio companies. Eugene is also experienced with startup product management, having built an MVP and identified product-market-fit for chatbot startup, Rikai Labs, and led competitive analysis and the development of new features at Blueprint.
Eugene holds a degree in economics from the University of Waterloo. In her free time, she is launching Women Venture Capitalists, a nonprofit community focused on helping aspiring female venture capitalists break into the space.
