Over the last 15 years, Geoff’s passion for building new ventures has produced profitable growth at scale for every company he’s worked for — from global conglomerates like CK Hutchison Holdings to the McLaren Formula One team. His proven methodology for driving strategic innovation and value creation centers around building new products and services to drive performance for the core business, with a strategy to ultimately expand the business beyond the core to the open market.

Geoff’s introduction to the Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem came while living in San Francisco and working for Phone.com, a startup that went on to become Openwave and define the mobile internet category. Highly experienced in technological innovation, he has since transformed commercial business models with new technologies including AI, machine learning, IoT, and predictive analytics; pioneered the application of data-driven design and decision solutions to optimize business at industrial scale, in sectors from utilities and energy to transport, finance, and sustainability; and created and managed strategic partner networks for open innovation, scaling, and fulfillment.

Geoff thrives working with technically creative entrepreneurial teams, which he likes to compare to jazz bands — individual experts in their fields who are capable of improvising and adapting to deliver on the team mission as circumstances evolve. Fostering that culture has been key to his success delivering breakthroughs in performance, within global corporations and startups alike.

In addition to a PhD and bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Queen Mary University of London, Geoff holds a diploma in management of technological innovation from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
