Kaamil specializes in helping global enterprises execute their strategic objectives through venture capital investing. As an Associate with the Venture Investing practice, he guides Mach49’s clients through identifying nascent markets, expanding sourcing pipelines, analyzing investment targets, and integrating funds into the venture ecosystem.

Prior to joining Mach49, Kaamil was a Senior Research Analyst at global technology research and consulting firm, Gartner Inc., where he produced bespoke research and provided advisory services for apex technology leaders and their direct reports at Global 500 enterprises. Most notably, he led a series of research studies for the Global CIO Research Board that examined how traditional enterprises should adapt their business models to compete in an age of digital disruption, what operating model changes are associated with becoming a digital company, and how enterprise risk strategy must change in the wake of digitalization. He also helped incubate and scale a Gartner Research Board pilot service, and contributed to research on enabling continuous delivery and DevOps at scale for Gartner’s community of CTOs and I&O leaders.

Kaamil holds a BA in philosophy, politics, and economics from Claremont McKenna College.
