His passion for engineering manifested early, through Legos, video games, and tinkering with electronics. As a professional, he’s brought that passion to roles with media production, broadcasting, and gaming startups. Most recently, at Screencast-O-Matic, Mario built and managed a custom e-commerce and sales / marketing system, a custom aggregate stock media library, support tools, and countless API integrations for the company’s flagship product.

He studied electrical engineering and information science technology at Pennsylvania State University, and holds licenses and certificates in search engine optimization, JavaScript, jQuery, Premiere Pro, and more. In his free time, Mario produces electronic music under the artist name Ghost Room Apollo and enjoys hiking, weight training, reading, and travel.
