A 35-year veteran in the technology industry, Marvin served as President of Liquidity Engine — a technology consulting firm, Co-Founder and CTO of abeama — a developer of wireless marketing automation tools, and Co-Founder and CTO of BrainBuzz.com — a vertical portal for IT professionals. He also founded and served as CEO of Kinetoscope, Inc., one of the nation’s pioneers in Java-based software development, serving clients such as General Motors International, US West, and Visa International. Prior to joining Mach49, he also served as Director of Engineering at Hands-On Technology — a publisher of business multimedia applications founded by Regis McKenna, Director of Development at Image Technologies — a multimedia development company in St. Petersburg, Florida, and Director of Engineering at Teknosys, where he designed the rule-based expert system used in solving system configuration problems for Help! and Help! Network products. Marvin is a published author — who co-wrote “The Human Side of Intranets” and numerous articles for industry publications, the co-author of a patent in the area of enterprise knowledge portals, and a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Knowledge and Innovation, published by the Knowledge Management Consortium. He studied electrical engineering and computer science at the University of Kentucky, the University of California, Berkley’s Semantic Computing Summer Program, and Stanford University’s Lean Launchpad Entrepreneur Educators Program.
