A Bay Area native, Mercedes has worked in multiple industries and company sizes to help develop effective content strategies, branding techniques, and unique user experiences. She specializes in design thinking, UX/UI, and information architecture to design and build seamless user experiences.
While originally beginning her career in marketing, Mercedes developed a love for user experience design through her ability to dive deep into what customers want and what customers need by using a very holistic and critical approach. Since joining Mach49, Mercedes has helped consult teams, from Fortune 1000 companies to prominent tech startups, in bringing their products to life through customer development, rapid prototyping, usability testing, and design iteration.
Mercedes attended Santa Clara University where she focused on communication and marketing. Later she attended General Assembly’s full-time immersive UX Design bootcamp in San Francisco.
