As a CX Designer / Researcher, Tyler supports Mach49’s client teams in their outreach and recruitment efforts for invaluable customer interviews. He also helps to educate other team members on the recruiting process. On projects Tyler is known for cultivating a collaborative, productive work environment and for his empathy, which enables him to better understand and address the needs of team members and customers, building stronger relationships and facilitating more effective communication.

Prior to joining Mach49, Tyler earned a BA in psychology and worked as a research assistant at a private university in Iowa, and earned a master's degree in human-computer interaction design at City, University of London. During this time, he gained expertise in conducting studies, collecting and analyzing data, and utilizing various software programs to enhance research methodologies. He developed a thorough comprehension of research methods, user research, design thinking, and accessible design, and presented his research across the US.

In his free time, you can find Tyler whipping up delicious treats in the kitchen, taking in breathtaking views on hikes, and watching the latest horror flicks. He’s also passionate about traveling the world and learning about new cultures.
