William leverages more than ten years of experience in data analysis and financial planning to advise Mach49 executives, ensuring the company’s long-term financial viability while identifying opportunities for exponential growth. William executes internal financial budgeting, dashboard creation, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis. He also counsels client teams during the Incubate process to validate their business models.
Before joining Mach49, William oversaw a $300M annual budget for network security leader Fortinet. He served as the sole financial planner for the company’s extensive R&D department, and supported executives in making strategic decisions surrounding product performance and resource distribution.
William holds a BS in Management Science from the University of California, San Diego and an MS in Statistics from Stanford University, where he first embraced Silicon Valley’s startup culture and disruption mindset.
